Terms of Service

Hompad is a household management application for tracking inventory, building shopping lists, organising items, scanning receipts, and generating recipes and meal plans. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country of residence.

The product is designed for shared households. Content you add to a household (such as inventory, lists, and recipes) may be visible to and editable by other members of that household. Only invite people you trust with that access.

• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure.
• Do not upload content you have no right to upload.
• Do not abuse AI features to generate harmful or illegal content.

Hompad offers a free plan and a paid plan (Hompad Plus). Paid subscriptions and any free trial are billed through our payments provider. Unless cancelled before the end of the current period, paid subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price. You can cancel at any time from your settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Trials convert to a paid subscription if not cancelled before the trial ends.

Statutory rights of withdrawal, where they apply to you, remain unaffected. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

Recipes, meal plans, receipt interpretations, and other AI-assisted output are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for convenience only and are not professional, nutritional, medical, or food-safety advice. Always use your own judgement — in particular regarding allergens, expiry dates, and food safety. Hompad is not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated output.

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant Hompadthe limited rights needed to host, process, and display that content so we can provide the service to you and your household.

We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Hompad and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profit arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to inform you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and excluding the CISG. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction is, to the extent legally permissible, the registered seat of the operator.
